Receivership Qualifications / Background Mergers & Acquisition Experience 2003-Present Over the last five-plus years working for Southern Colorado’s oldest M&A firm, I have successfully completed the Valuations and the transfer of over 35 privately held companies. I have in addition, performed over 75 valuations of privately held companies for resale purposes. I possess an extensive understanding of all aspects of business ownership, with the ability to oversee all types of management, repair, service, inventory, remodel, liquidation and relocation that is tied to buying, selling, managing, and operating a business and/or commercial real estate. Business Ownership Experience 1979-2001 Successfully purchased (or started) and operated seven businesses (some with multiple locations and controlling as many as five at a time) over a 22 year period. Was instrumental in the transfer of ownership of all these companies. Businesses included equipment rental, retail stores, manufacturing, parts distribution, computer consulting firm, concrete batch plant, and an irrigation business. Property Management Experience 1977-1979 I was a manager for JBK Management in Denver, Colorado. JBK Management acquired distressed apartment complexes, ranging in size from 110 to 500+ units. I supervised the clean-up, renovation, and managed day-to-day operations during the transition.
